An aging small-time hood facing jail time works both sides of the street. One of Robert Mitchum's best. Excellent cast. Watch for Steven Keats as the arms dealer and Peter Boyle as Mitchum's slippery friend. This movie puts you right smack in there with these guys A smart script, real dialogue and characters make for a fine movie.
