Punk falls for Valley Girl--warning---vintage 1980's. Ok, ok. I know. However, This is actually kind of a sweet movie. Romeo and Juliet in 80's California. Nicholas Cage basically plays a potato, but pulls it off well. Deborah Foreman is, like, sooo bitchin' as his girlfriend, and as a treat, we get Frederic Forrest as her dad. Don't count on any life lessons from this one, but it's a cute movie and let's leave it at that.
